Each year Rotary Club of Middleboro members, as well as family and friends, gather at ‘My Brothers Keeper’ in Dartmouth to select and wrap presents for those who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year was extra special...(Group photo - L to R ... Quack, Pen, Nicole, Lucas, Steve & Mike)
We’re provided with a family’s list of names and genders and sizes and each person’s wish list. We then ‘shop’ through the aisles to fulfill those wishes as closely as possible. We’re encouraged by the staff to “be generous!” with our selections. We gladly comply. As we select the presents, they are brought to our table to be wrapped by our group. Typically each group there is assigned a single family. However, when we finished ours, Steve said jovially “Let’s do another !”…and so we did ! We also enjoyed a visit from the Grinch (thank you, Steve!) ... everyone loved it ! Our Rotary club gives of our time in many ways to help give back to our communities. Service before Self.
