We began as always with the Pledge, then an invocation followed by the reading of the Four Way Test. Though we were missing some members, including our President who was on a business trip, we addressed several agenda items, voting when necessary and received an update from Cherie our secretary on our annual Auction, which concludes today, Saturday 22 March 2025!Visit our Auction site https://new.biddingowl.com/middlebororotary There are great items to bid on and the funds we raise support our community efforts all year long.
We were also Delighted to once again be visited by a great Gal Chery T. Gilkies, who came bearing gifts! These included a personal copy of a book she strongly recommended for each of us, and three Large Bags of books for our Little Book Boxes! Thank you Cheryl for joining us, for the Book & Books and for sharing the engaging stories! We shared many laughs throughout the evening, and the camaraderie was palpable! So enjoyable trading stories!
It was Cold & Windy today, but no matter ... Q put the Books Cheryl donated to very good use ... three bags full re-stocked three Book Boxes !
